How are these predictions generated?

Every fixture is scored by our data provider (API-Football) which combines each team's recent form, head-to-head history, home/away performance, goals for and against, league standings and current-season statistics. We ingest that raw model output and blend it with the live betting market (implied probabilities from bookmaker odds) to produce the win / draw / win percentages you see on the card.

What does the confidence level mean?

Confidence is a 0-100 score derived from how strongly the model favours one outcome, how much the model agrees with the market, and how much recent data is available for both teams. We bucket it into Low, Medium, High and Very High so you can filter quickly — a High confidence pick is one where model and market both point the same way with a clear margin.

What signals are taken into consideration?

Recent form (last 5-10 matches), goals scored and conceded, home vs. away splits, head-to-head record, league position and points-per-game, injuries and squad availability where published, and the current bookmaker consensus. For goal totals we also look at each team's over/under trends and the referee's card and goal averages when relevant.

How often are predictions refreshed?

Fixtures, odds and predictions are re-synced on an hourly schedule, and again in the hours leading up to kick-off. The 'last updated' timestamp on each card shows the most recent successful sync. If a match is close to kick-off you'll see fresher data than for a game several days away.

Question 5

Why does the pick sometimes disagree with the highest percentage?

Accepted Answer

The headline pick follows the model's own advice (e.g. 'Win or draw for Team A', 'Double chance'), which can be a safer market than the straight 1X2 winner. When that happens we show both: the advised bet and the underlying win probabilities, so you can decide which market suits your risk appetite.

Are these predictions guaranteed?

No. Football is inherently unpredictable and no model — ours included — can guarantee outcomes. Predictions are informational only.
